En una de las torres del Palacio, se puede ver este reloj, en este caso más moderno, no dispone de esfera y los números romanos estan clavados directamente a una de las paredes de la torre, cabe destacar que en este reloj también han puesto el número "IIII" como "IV", al no ser la torre de una iglesia, que no usaría IV por ser las iniciales en latín de IVPITER, el dios más importante de la Antigua Roma, debemos pensar que como la numeración romana se inspiró en la numeración etrusca, un sistema basado en la adición en el que cada signo iba sumándose al anterior. Para los etruscos, el 4 era 4 veces I (IIII), pero los romanos transformaron el sistema y lo convirtieron en sustractivo, por lo que el número 4 pasó a ser IV. Otra teoría, a gusto de cada cual.

"Este palacio fortaleza empezó a construirse en 1539, su estilo es gótico-renacentista y fue terminado sobre el 1614. Lo mandó construir Ramón de Vilanova, barón de la Foia de Castalla y Señor de Onil y Fabanella, lo heredó Gaspar de Rocafull, a quien en 1624, el Rey Felipe IV, le otorga el título de Marqués de Dos Aguas. El edificio es de planta cuadrangular y dispone de cuatro torres, con sendos escudos nobiliarios, alberga las dependencias del ayuntamiento, mientras que una de ellas está ocupada por el campanario de la iglesia. Posee un foso exterior que da entrada al interior donde existe un claustro o patio porticado, donde se hallaba la cárcel de la Jurisdicción Señorial. Las habitaciones de interior son de bóveda y las ventanas tienen cómodos pedestales algunos sin acabar. Todas las plantas del magnífico edificio son amplias y grandes con techos de madera artesonados."
