"Un atentado -otro-, contra el patrimonio de todos. La ermita de Santa María la Antigua de Carabanchel, la edificación más veterana de Madrid, ha amanecido vandalizada con distintos graffitis, ha informado en su cuenta de Twitter la asociación Carabanchel Historia y Patrimonio.
“Esta noche han pintado con spray negro en la ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Antigua de Carabanchel, la edificación más antigua de la ciudad de Madrid, construida en el siglo XIII y declarada Bien de Interés Cultural (BIC) en 1981. ¿Cómo se puede evitar que vuelva a ocurrir?”, se pregunta la asociación.
En la última comisión de Cultura la concejala del Grupo Mixto Marta Higueras reclamaba al área de limpiar la zona de basuras, revisar el plan urbanístico y restringir el acceso de los coches hasta la ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Antigua de Carabanchel, adosada al cementerio y construida en estilo románico-mudéjar.
La ermita fue declarada BIC bajo el concepto de monumento en 1981 pero hubo que esperar a 2020 para declarar BIC su entorno. “Desde entonces no ha habido actuaciones de protección”, advertía Higueras en la comisión municipal de Cultura, donde defendía que “Madrid es más que su centro”.
Higueras detallaba que los coches entran en la misma vereda y “hasta la misma fachada de la ermita utilizando el espacio como parking”.
El director general de Patrimonio Cultural, Luis Lafuente Batanero, detallaba que la vereda no está incluida en el catálogo de vías pecuarias de la Comunidad de Madrid y que recientemente ha sido desmontada la torre eléctrica en el entorno de la iglesia. Lafuente contestaba que ya están en contacto con el distrito y que existe una ruta cultural dedicada a la ermita.
Sanciones antigrafitis
Con la nueva ordenanza de la capital, las sanciones por realizar grafitis sobre cualquier superficie de la capital partirán de un importe mínimo de 2.000 euros y podrán llegar a los 3.000 euros. Ahora, la sanción leve por realizar pintadas en mobiliario urbano, muretes, pilares o puertas es de 600 euros.
Además, por primera vez, todo grafiti irá asociado, al margen de la propia sanción, de la exigencia de la reparación de los daños. En caso de reincidencia, la normativa autonómica contempla cuantías de 600 a 6.000 euros para las pintadas vandálicas. El Ayuntamiento de Madrid castigará estas infracciones repetitivas con un importe de salida de los 4.000 hasta los 6.000 euros que puede alcanzar."
