Pila de agua bendita a mano derecha de la entrada a la iglesia, la pila esta confeccionada en piedra pero ha sido pintada para darle un parecido al mármol, esta puesta sobre la pared y con una leyenda sobre la utilidad del agua bendita.
"En la religión católica se denomina pila de agua bendita a un recipiente de piedra u otro material situado a la entrada de las iglesias que contiene agua bendecida para que se persignen los fieles.
El origen de las pilas de agua bendita se remonta a los primeros tiempos de la Iglesia católica considerándose como tales por los arqueólogos ciertos vasos y depósitos de mármol o de barro cocido que se hallan en las catacumbas. Pero la forma y posición de las pilas, tal como se hallan ahora en la entrada de las iglesias, empezó en el siglo xii y se generalizó a finales del siglo xiv. Los acetres o calderillas para llevar el agua bendita se hallan ya en el siglo x como se ve por un ejemplar en la iglesia de San Ambrosio de Milán (Italia) pero sin duda datan de más antiguo como el uso del agua bendita".

The origin of the holy water fonts dates back to the early days of the Catholic Church, considering as such by archaeologists certain vessels and deposits of marble or baked clay found in the catacombs. But the shape and position of the fonts, as they are now found at the entrance of the churches, began in the twelfth century and became general at the end of the fourteenth century. The acetres or pots to carry holy water are already in the 10th century as can be seen from a copy in the church of Sant'Ambrosio in Milan (Italy) but without a doubt they date back as far back as the use of holy water".
