On the territory of the monastery Moldovita in Vatra Moldovitei, Romania is
an old draw well. The fact that there is a cup standing there and some water on
the surface might indicate that the well is still in use. There's a big rounded
roof above the well, which is operated by turning a wagon wheel. The round
construction is made of stones and has an eight-sided surface to put the bucket
and/or other things there.
You have to pay a low fee for entering the monastery, plus another low
fee if you want to take photos. And, you should respect their dress code
plus don't take photos of the nuns.
