Le Petit Séminaire s'est installé dans un ancien couvent établi au XVIIe siècle. Avec ses jardins transformés en parkings et en places, il occupe toujours une grande emprise dans la ville de Pont-Croix.
Au XVIIe siècle, Sébastien II de Rosmadec entreprend la Aco construction d'un couvent pour les soeurs de l'ordre des Ursulines. Au XVIlle siècle, il abrite une école de jeunes filles et accueille des personnes âgées. Lors de la Révolution, il est vendu comme bien national; les 33 Ursulines sont chassées Le couvent est transformé en caserne et en fabrique de salpêtre. En 1796, Tréhot de Clermont achète le couvent et le rnet en location; une caserne de gendarmerie y est installée.

The Petit Séminaire is housed in a former convent established in the 17th century. With its gardens transformed into parking lots and squares, it still occupies a large part of the town of Pont-Croix.
In the 17th century, Sébastien II de Rosmadec undertook the Aco construction of a convent for the nuns of the Ursuline order. In the 16th century, it housed a girls' school and a home for the elderly. During the Revolution, it was sold as national property; the 33 Ursulines were expelled. The convent was transformed into barracks and a saltpetre factory. In 1796, Tréhot de Clermont buys the convent and rents it out; a gendarmerie barracks is set up there.
