This 'You Are Here' can be found on a map sign at the entrance to a car parking area on Golf Road in the Aberdeenshire town of Ellon, some twenty miles north of the city of Aberdeen in north-east Scotland.
The map shows the area of McDonald Park, a large green wooded area to the north of the town centre which was gifted by James Gordon McDonald in 1928.
The park consists of mostly McDonald Golf Course, with red lines forming walking trails throughout as illustrated on the map. The sign also points out various wildlife to be seen, as well as species of trees.
