This congregation was founded in 1708 by early members of the Church of England. While this building is not the original building (1721), this was the replacement and has stood ever since. A split from the Church of England and switch to the Protestant Episcopal church occurred in 1785 due to the Revolutionary War. Today it still provides services and available for visits.
