Canon a été modénisé à partir 1904 en y ajoutant un frein de cul hydro-pneumatique et ainsi être à égal de son rival le canon français de 75 mm.
En 1916 cette pièce artillerie sera dotée d'un canon plus long qui permettre une portée de tir à un peu plus de 9000 m Ce canon fut abandnné par l'armée Allemande dans les ruines de Warneton.

Canon was modernized from 1904 by adding a hydro-pneumatic butt brake and thus being on par with its rival, the French 75 mm cannon.
In 1916 this artillery piece will be equipped with a longer barrel which will allow a firing range of just over 9000 m. This gun was abandoned by the German army in the ruins of Warneton.
