The azimuth mark is a little over a foot away from a massive drop off of the edge of the butte. Please be very mindful of the cliff when visiting this marker and don't put yourself in a position of unnecessary risk. To reach the marker itself requires some easy scrambling over the sandstone boulders that make up the edge of the butte. The disk is set flush with the top of the southernmost sandstone boulder on the butte.
Azimuth Condition: Good

Your Directions:
To reach the azimuth mark from triangulation station MIDWEST, hike south along the western rim of the butte for 0.20 miles (not quite the quarter mile distance that is described in the data sheet).
