Cette écluse N°159 se situe sur le canal de Nantes à Brest, au niveau de la commune de Glomel. Elle a été construite en 1829.

Écluse à sas ; grand appareil de granite ; bittes d'amarrage. État actuel : portes disparues ; une dalle verticale en béton en amont ; pierres du sas descellées. Déversoir & vanne au niveau de la porte aval. Déversoir rectiligne ; culée et îlot : grand appareil de granite. Déversoir et vanne sont enjambés par une passerelle : bois & quatre dés de granite. Passerelle sur écluse, en aval : quatre dés de granite aux angles. État actuel : poutrelles métalliques et tablier de bois récents." (visit link)

Airlock lock; large granite apparatus; mooring bollards. Current status: doors missing; a vertical concrete slab upstream; airlock stones loosened. Spillway & gate at the downstream gate. Straight weir; abutment and island: large granite device. Spillway and valve are spanned by a footbridge: wood & four granite blocks. Footbridge over lock, downstream: four granite blocks at the corners. Current condition: recent metal beams and wooden deck." (visit link)
