The Church of Santa Maria de Nazareth or Church of the Discalced (Chiesa di Santa Maria di Nazareth or Chiesa degli Scalzi in Italian) is a church in the city of Venice (Veneto, Italy), from the early eighteenth century, the work of Baltasar Longhena , located in the Cannaregio sestiere, near the Venice Santa Lucia station.

The Church of Santa María de Nazareth owes its name to the Discalced Carmelites living in Venice. The work consists of a single nave and has two side chapels. It was consecrated in 1705 and later restored between 1853 and 1862.

It is an Italian national monument.

The work Transport of the House of Loreto, a fresco by Giambattista Tiepolo from 1743, was destroyed during an Austrian bombardment on October 24, 1915. It was in an attempt to repair this damage, that, in the period 1929-1933, Ettore Tito He painted two works for the church: a 100-square-meter canvas, and a 400-square-meter fresco. The remains of the Transport of the house of Loreto and other remains of the ceiling are preserved today in the Galleries dell'Accademia, where one of the two sketches (oil on canvas) painted by Tiepolo as preparatory models for the great lost fresco[ 3]. There is a photograph of the ceiling by James Anderson, a copy by Mariano Fortuny in the Correr museum and, since May 2020, a 103 x 70 cm format drawing by Olivier Maceratesi.
