"Since 2003 Malaga Contemporary Art Center, the old Wholesale Market was designed by Luis Gutiérrez Soto in 1937.

The works started in 1939, but were not finished until 1943. In those 4 years, the appearance of the market changed significantly.

If, at first, it was going to be a rationalist deco, in the end, it was a rationalist fascist (thanks to the already removed frontal shield with the yoke and the arrows and letters with Francoist cheers) with Art Deco touches.

What are those Art Deco brushstrokes?
