Le monument est constitué d’un obélisque, surmonté d’une reproduction de Croix de Guerre, reposant sur un socle quadrangulaire à base élargie, installé sur deux niveaux d’assise constituant emmanchement (sauf en face postérieure où les deux niveaux d’assise ne sont pas débordant).
Sur la face antérieure de l’obélisque est sculptée une palme verticale qui traverse en partie inférieure une couronne verticale composé du côté gauche de feuillages et du côté droit d’immortelles. De part et d’autre de la base de la couronne pendent les deux extrémités d’un ruban dépourvu de toute inscription.
A la base de la face antérieure de l’obélisque est fixée une plaque rectangulaire (plus large que haute), de teinte blanche, qui porte sous le liseré tricolore qui orne ses angles supérieurs gauche et droit, l’inscription en lettres d’or : “1939 – 1945” au-dessus de deux colonnes de huit prénoms et noms (sans ordre de classement apparent). Un neuvième individu (prénom et nom), inscrit en dessous des deux colonnes, correspond à un “Mort pour la France” pendant la Guerre d’Indochine.
Au niveau du socle, la face antérieure, la face postérieure et les côtés gauche et droit ont tous la même forme : un fronton droit à deux pentes qui sert de sommet à une réservation rectangulaire (plus haute que large) abritant face antérieure, côté gauche et côté droit une plaque de teinte blanche veinée de gris de même forme que la réservation (c’est-à-dire avec un fronton à deux pentes en partie supérieure ayant une largeur à la base moindre que la largeur de tout le reste de la plaque). Sur la face antérieure cette plaque porte sur trois lignes la gravure de l’inscription principale. Sur les côtés gauche et droit la plaque porte sur deux colonnes (dans un ordre qui ne suit ni l’ordre alphabétique, ni les grades, ni l’ordre des dates de décès), les prénoms et noms des 50 enfants de Douadic Morts pour la France.
En dessous de l’encadrement sur la face antérieure, le côté gauche et le côté droit de la partie inférieure du socle est gravé “1914 - 1918”.

The monument is made up of an obelisk, surmounted by a reproduction of the Croix de Guerre, resting on a quadrangular plinth with an enlarged base, installed on two levels of seating constituting a step (except on the rear face where the two levels of seating do not are not overflowing).
On the front face of the obelisk is carved a vertical palm which crosses in the lower part a vertical crown composed on the left side of foliage and on the right side of immortelles. From either side of the base of the crown hang the two ends of a ribbon devoid of any inscription.
At the base of the front face of the obelisk is fixed a rectangular plate (wider than high), of white hue, which bears under the tricolor border which adorns its upper left and right angles, the inscription in gold letters : “1939 – 1945” above two columns of eight first and last names (without apparent order of classification). A ninth individual (first name and surname), inscribed below the two columns, corresponds to a “Death for France” during the Indochina War.
At the level of the base, the front face, the back face and the left and right sides all have the same shape: a right pediment with two slopes which serves as the top of a rectangular reservation (higher than wide) sheltering the front face, left side and on the right side a slab of white color veined with gray of the same shape as the reservation (that is to say with a pediment with two slopes in the upper part having a width at the base less than the width of all the rest of the plaque). On the front face of this plate bears the engraving of the main inscription on three lines. On the left and right sides the plate bears on two columns (in an order which follows neither the alphabetical order, nor the ranks, nor the order of the dates of death), the first names and surnames of the 50 children of Douadic who died for France.
Below the frame on the front side, the left side and the right side of the lower part of the base is engraved “1914 - 1918”.
