This nature park covers about 95 acres. There are two large springs in the park - Leonard Springs and Shirley Springs. The park entrance and parking (for perhaps a dozen cars) is at the waymark coordiantes. A network of packed-earth trails and a lengthy iron stair-path take visitors down and around the valley. Leonard Springs Trail is about 1.1 miles long. This rugged, wood chipped, natural trail with steep slopes and stairs allows views of a wetland, two caves, Shirley Springs, and several other natural wonders.
