The South Bohemian Agricultural Museum is an unconventional museum where visitors can expect not only educational information about the history of agriculture and rural life in past centuries but also entertainment and unforgettable experiences. Within the premises of a former noble estate, interactive exhibitions focusing on rural life, crafts, agricultural machinery, and beloved tractors can be found. The museum exhibits are not only interactive but also tactile, meaning that visitors can touch and even try out most of the displayed objects and machines. It is not a problem to manually thresh grain, grind flour, spin yarn on a spinning wheel, and more within the museum. During events and experiential programs, visitors can also bake bread, make homemade cheese or butter, forge a horseshoe, or process sheep's wool in various ways.

Opening Times: May and June: Friday 13:00 - 17:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 - 17:00. Open on weekdays for schools by prior telephone arrangement. July and August: Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays 10:00 - 18:00. September: Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays 10:00 - 18:00. From September 19 onwards, open only on Fridays 13:00 - 17:00, Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 - 17:00. October: Friday 13:00 - 17:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 - 17:00. November to April: Closed.
