This sign is located along the main walkway from the parking area to the main entry at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller. It is located next to a modern recreation of a Pachyrhinosaurus, which is a popular photo op.

Sign reads as follows:

"PACHYRHINOSAURUS ("thick-nosed lizard") was named for the rough, thickened bones on its nose. A member of the ceratopsian family of horned, herbivorous dinosaurs, Pachyrhinosaurus was first discovered in the Alberta Badlands in 1946. Not much was known about this dinosaur until a massive bonebed was unearthed at Pipestone Creek in northern Alberta in 1972. Containing hundreds, possibly thousands, of pachirhinosaurs at various growth stages, the mass death as it suggests seasonal herding behavior."
