This municipal park in Ahmedabad is a oasis of relative quietness, something precious in any Indian city. And in one water tank there are two statues of lions.

Located a bit off the center, Sheth Motilal Hirabai, also known as Law Market, offers the possible quietness in a big city like Ahmedabad. It's not big, one can cross it walking in less than 10 minutes. But specially in the middle of the day there isn't much people there. Excellent place to just lie on the grass with a book.
There are some nice ponds, plenty of tall trees and quiet corners. In one of its water tanks there are two status of lions, not too big, heading it.
Beggers are a problem here though, but still managable.
