Le dolmen de Kermarquer (ou dolmen de Kermarker) est un dolmen de La Trinité-sur-Mer, dans le Morbihan en France.

Le mégalithe est situé dans un bois, au sud de la route départementale RD186. Il se trouve à environ 160 m au nord-ouest du hameau de Kermarquer et 180 m au sud-est du hameau de Kerdreneven

Description

L'édifice est un dolmen a entrée latérale. Il est composé de deux chambres funéraires séparées par un support. La première, dépourvue de plafond, est de forme rectangulaire et mesure environ 2,5 × 2,5 m. On accède à la deuxième chambre par un côté de la première chambr5. Cette deuxième chambre, de forme octogonale, mesure environ 1,5 × 1,5 m et est encore recouverte de sa dalle. Deux autres dalles de couvertures forment le plafond du couloir d'accès.

Un tumulus circulaire surplombe l'ensemble.

Histoire

Le monument date du Néolithique.

Il est classé au titre des monuments historiques par arrêté du 18 juin 1899.

The megalith is located in a wood, south of the RD186 departmental road. It is about 160 m north-west of the hamlet of Kermarquer and 180 m south-east of the hamlet of Kerdreneven

Description

The building is a dolmen with a side entrance. It is composed of two funerary chambers separated by a support. The first, without a ceiling, is rectangular in shape and measures approximately 2.5 × 2.5 m. The second bedroom is accessed from one side of the first bedroom. This second chamber, octagonal in shape, measures approximately 1.5 × 1.5 m and is still covered with its slab. Two other roof slabs form the ceiling of the access corridor.

A circular tumulus overlooks the whole.

Hitory

The monument dates from the Neolithic era.

It is classified as a historical monument by order of June 18, 1899.
