Anchor Bay High School is a grade 9 - 12 secondary school located at 6319 County Line Rd, Fair Haven, MI 48023. A dramatic mall-like commons/dining area is the central hub of this 400,000 SF school. After school, the space serves as a lobby for the auditorium and gymnasium, as well as display and meeting space for student and community activities. The academic classrooms are organized into smaller learning communities to create a more intimate learning environment in this 1,800 student high school. An 830-seat auditorium is centrally located, as are two gymnasiums. The media center occupies a prominent location overlooking the commons. A distance learning lab and a multimedia workroom create an environment that encourages research and learning in a 21st century setting. A childcare space for children within the district is also included. The 100-acre site features a 3000-seat football, track and soccer stadium.
