Last remaining structure on the grounds of the famous resort, The White Sulphur Springs Hotel owned by Col and Mrs. W.W. Stringfield. Many visitors, including Pres. Woodrow Wilson spent vacations here enjoying the believed medicinal uses of the water.
Given to the town of Waynesville by the Sloan Family in 1971.
