It is a church with three naves separated by pillars, with a semicircular apse and a small chapel, also semicircular, dedicated to the baptistery, at the foot of the left nave.

The most significant aspect of the structure is the elevation of the central nave, with a gabled roof supported by special wooden trusses, with a trefoil design. The façade, with neo-Romanesque lines, lost the bell tower, which has been replaced by a new iron work, in contrast. Inside there are paintings by Josep Serrasanta.

With the purchase of the Castell de Fels (Castle of Castelldefels) by the Girona family, the old parish (located next to the castle) lost its function. For this reason, Manuel Girona paid for the construction of the new one, begun in 1903 and carried out by Enric Sagnier i Villavecchia. It was consecrated by Bishop Laguarda on September 19, 1909.

It was burned down in 1936, a fact that made it used as a public market. In 1948 its reconstruction began, carried out by the architect Nil Tusquets.
