Al pie de la colina del castillo al límite del casco urbano, entre Can Roca de Baix y la antigua masía de Can Arnand se encuentra la torre de Can Gomar. Se trata de una torre de planta circular y rodeada por un continuo matacán. Esta torre, junto con otras que existen en Castelldefels, fueron erigidas en el siglo xvi para controlar la línea de la costa de las incursiones corsarias de los turcos.
La torre se une a la masía por la planta baja mediante un puente. La masía es de planta rectangular con planta baja y piso y cubierta a dos aguas. La masía y la torre tienen dinteles, jambas y dovelas de piedra de piedra arenisca roja.
At the foot of the castle hill on the edge of the town, between Can Roca de Baix and the old Can Arnand farmhouse is the Can Gomar tower. It is a circular tower surrounded by a continuous machicolation. This tower, along with others that exist in Castelldefels, were erected in the 16th century to control the coastline from privateering raids by the Turks.
The tower is joined to the farmhouse on the ground floor by a bridge. The farmhouse has a rectangular floor plan with a ground floor and first floor and a gabled roof. The farmhouse and the tower have red sandstone lintels, jambs and voussoirs.
