The sculpture is comprised of parts from an American Crane Corporation mobile crane. The sculpture components include a lattice boom, a rear support plate, a weight scale with a Louis Padnos Company logo, and a concrete platform hanging from the crane hook. Time is located on the west side of Pine Avenue on “Sculpture Row” in Holland.

“A self-taught artist working with the materials at hand, Stuart Padnos has created sculpture exhibited throughout Michigan including "Sculpture Row" on Pine Avenue and other locations in Holland; the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids; Fredrick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, and several Grand Valley State University campuses.”
