St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church was organized in 1928. Land for the present brick church was purchased in 1929. The church was constructed in Gothic Revival style in 1930.

A set of stairs leads up to an entrance which is covered by a gable roof at the base of a tower. Above the entrance is a Palladian window and the sides of the tower have a pair of vertically oriented Gothic style windows. At the top is a white sided belfry with Gothic louvered openings and a pyramidal roof.

The main block of the church has a gable roof and Gothic style windows on front flanking the tower. The sides of the building are five bays deep with rectangular windows at the concrete foundation level and five Gothic windows in the brick section above. The rectory at the northwest corner of the church was built in 1933.
