This Mausoleum is dedicated to Johan Arnold von Clermont. Johan Clermont was a clothier from Aachen. He was born von 24. May 1728 and died on 5. December 1795. The mausoleum was built in 1778 by the architect J. Moretti. It placed near the castle of Vaelsbrook. It has been placed in such a way, it can be seen it from the castle. It is embedded in the park in the backyard of the castle. In the sidewall are 42 niches for other family members.
The mausoleum can be visited free of charge at any time.
