The small settlement just west of here was named for rancher Christian Otto. Little remains of the town today other than the ruins of the old school house and grocery store. The nearest town is Clayton, about ten miles to the northeast. This small cemetery, on the north side of Highway 412, has about a hundred grave sites. The last burial here was in the early 2000s.
