Ce site de camping/amusement est situé sur la Route 335 dans la municipalité de Saint-Calixte, Québec. Selon plusieures sources, il s'agit du plus gros site de la province du Québec.
La proximité de Saint-Calixte avec la ville de Montréal et son environnement naturel font de cette municipalité une destination de camping en été. Il y a aussi de nombreux chalets qui entourent les nombreux lacs de la région.
Le 7 août 2012, deux entreprenneurs québecois annoncent un investissement de 10 millions pour la création d’un parc récréatif dans le camping familial de Saint-Calixte. Ils visent une fréquentation de 2.000 personnes par jour. Un an plus târd, en 2013, le Complexe Atlantide, a ouvert ses portes. Outre les infrastructures du parc, les campeurs auront à leur disposition divers terrains sportifs (tennis, soccer, basketball, etc.)
Les investisseurs avaient vu juste et le succès a amené le développement progressif du site: une maison hantée, un château, un zoo… En 2014 il y avait déjà 104 employés dont 20 permanents. En juin 2020 les promoteurs annonçaient la construction d’un hôtel, demandant de modifier le zonage du secteur pour permettre une construction de 4 étages.
