Selon differentes sources, le Service de sécurité incendie de la municipalité a été crée en 1933. Le 1er janvier 2023, après 90 ans de d'existence, ce service a cessé d'exister lors de son intégration au Service de Sécurité Incendie de la MRC de Montcalm.
Le service de sécurité incendie de la MRC de Montcalm a été créé le 5 avril 2010, suite à la fusion des services de sécurité incendie des municipalités de Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan et de Saint-Esprit. La municipalité de Saint-Jacques s'est également jointe au service en janvier 2021 et celles de Saint-Calixte et Sainte-julienne, le 1er janvier 2023. Cette fusion a été réalisée par une délégation de compétence à la MRC de Montcalm en vertu des articles 569 et suivants du Code municipal (L.R.Q.,chapitre 27). Le service est défini par le règlement numéro 346 de la MRC de Montcalm. Le service couvre les municipalités de Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan, Saint-Esprit, Saint-Alexis, Saint-Jacques, Sainte-Julienne et Saint-Calixte, totalisant un territoire de près de 500 kilomètres carrés.
Saint-Calixte est une municipalité et une ville de la région de Lanaudière au Québec, au Canada, faisant partie de la municipalité régionale de comté de Montcalm, située à environ 70 km au nord de Montréal et 291 km à l’ouest de la ville de Québec.
La municipalité couvre un territoire de 146.70 km2 (56.64 sq mi). Au recensement de 2021, sa population était de 6 792 individus.

According to various sources, the Municipality's Fire Safety Service was created in 1933. On January 1, 2023, after 90 years of existence, this service ceased to exist when it was integrated into the MRC de Montcalm Fire Safety Service.
The fire safety service of the MRC de Montcalm was created on April 5, 2010, following the merger of the fire safety services of the municipalities of Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan and Saint-Esprit. The municipality of Saint-Jacques also joined the service in January 2021 and those of Saint-Calixte and Sainte-Julienne on January 1, 2023.
