Melvin Davis was but nineteen years old at the time of his death. There are at least four Woodman of the World grave markers for members of the Davis family in this part of the cemetery, and many additional WOTW markers (some toppled and on their sides) here. Melvin's marker is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a base of cut logs that are adorned with leaves and ivy.
