Ermita de Santiago - Ampudia, Palencia España - Bell Towers on Waymarking.com

"Junto al castillo, al que pertenecía, se encuentra la ermita de Santiago, con la que antiguamente enlazaba la muralla.
Se trata de una construcción de los siglos XVI y XVII, reconstruida a mediados del XIX.
En su interior tiene interés el retablo barroco del siglo XVIII procedente del Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de la Alconada.

Después, hacia 1851, pasó a depender de la parroquia y se reedificó gracias a Don Manuel de Tariego, canónigo de Sevilla. A partir 1970, comenzó a derrumbarse paulatinamente.

En 1998 la ermita fue reinaugurada."
