The last time Blasterz saw a moose, it was 2007, and we were in Rocky Mount National Park near Estes, Colorado . The moose was so far away he was just a moving brown dot in a whole bunch of bushes.

Fast forward to 2019, and Blasterz are rocketing through Saskatchewan on the way to Regina, and we see this unusual crossing sign. I asked the Younger Blasters if they remember the last time they saw a moose. They did, and remembered that it wasn't much of a moose-sighting.

So they went back to playng whatever electronic game in the back seat, when Daddy Blaster looked into the mustard fields and SAW A MOOSE!!! Not a Rocky Mountain National Park-style moose, this was a real moose - you could see his head and ears and big body!

We had exceptional luck in Canada seeing whatever wildlife that the crossing signs warned us were around.

Still to this day, four years after our big Canadian adventure, we see a wildlife crossing sign, and you can see the Younger Blasterz looking around.

Good memories!
