The Lions Centennial NWMP Museum at Estevan SK CAN is located in the historic 1867 North Western Mounted Police Post, where officers served and protected this part of Saskatchewan, which was at the time a sparsely populated area.
The NWMP was the precursor agency to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The restoration and refurbishment of this NWMP post was a Canadian Centennial of Confederation project led by the Lions Club.
A plaque outside the museum (unfortunately closed on the day the Blasterz were visiting) reads as follows:
