The parish church covers the area of the three small villages of Kirkthorpe Warmfield and Heath and is situated in Kirkthorpe.
The memorial itself only refers to Warmfield and Heath.
The memorial stands near to the entrance of the church and is a plain Celtic style wheel cross on a square plinth flanked by four supports protruding from each corner.
In stands on a two stepped base surrounded by low chains.
There are two dedication plaques, one for each World War, at the base of the cross.
