Bij het pannekoekhuys Hoch Elten zagen we de Nederlandse acteur Huub Stapel een aantal jaar geleden zitten.
Opvallend en grappig vond ik dat Huub Stapel vrij klein is, dat had ik niet verwacht.
Nu we recent weer in Hoog Elten waren heb ik foto's van het pannekoekenhuis gemaakt voor de nieuwe WM categorie en zag ik, grappig genoeg, op de website een foto van Huub Stapel met de eigenaar staan.
Huub Stapel is een acteur en theater maker.
Huub speelde in veel Nederlands films en series. Hij brak door met zijn rol in de Nederlandse film: de lift en de serie: Flodder.
Ook in België en Duitsland heeft hij rollen gespeeld.
In de Amerikaanse productie The Attic: The hidding of Ann Frank speelde Huub Stapel de Rol van Jan Gies (de man van Miep Gies) die hielp om de familie Frank te verborgen te houden en te bevoorraden.

At the pannekoekhuys Hoch Elten we saw the Dutch actor Huub Stapel a few years ago.
I found it striking and funny that Huub Stapel is quite small, I had not expected that.
Now that we were recently back in Hoog Elten I took pictures of the pancake house for the new WM category and I saw, funnily enough, a picture of Huub Stapel with the owner on the website.
Huub Stapel is an actor and theater maker.
Huub played in many Dutch films and series. He broke through with his role in the Dutch film: the elevator and the series: Flodder.
He has also played roles in Belgium and Germany.
In the American production The Attic: The hidding of Ann Frank, Huub Stapel played the role of Jan Gies (Miep Gies' husband) who helped to hide and supply the Frank family.
