This Quonset hut is located along Route 6 (westbound) in rural Foster, Rhode Island, in the northwest corner of the Ocean State and about 1.5 miles east of the Connecticut border. The ribbed metal Q Model semi-circular building has a single bay roll up garage door with a walk-in entrance door to its right and a floodlight mounted to the peak of the arch. There are no other doors or windows besides the pair of portals on the southeast end. It appears to be used for storage. Facing toward Danielson Pike, the structure is about 30 feet wide by 40 feet long and is built on a concrete slab foundation at the west side of the Shady Acres Diner property.
