Santa Bárbara es un barrio situado en un meandro del río de la Val, al lado de la carretera A-1403, a poco menos de 2 kilómetros de la capital municipal. Fue fundado como barriada para mineros, siendo un núcleo de casas de ladrillos rojos, parecido a Aldehuela. Solo viven 19 habitantes.
Es de fundación reciente, y no tiene ningún monumento civil, aunque se debe mencionar su iglesia dedicada a Santa Bárbara, patrona de los mineros, que actualmente, es ahora un museo y centro de interpretación de la minería.
Santa Bárbara is a neighborhood located in a meander of the river de la Val, next to the A-1403 road, just under 2 kilometers from the municipal capital. It was founded as a neighborhood for miners, being a nucleus of red brick houses, similar to Aldehuela. Only 19 inhabitants live.
It is recently founded, and does not have any civil monuments, although its church dedicated to Santa Bárbara, patron saint of miners, should be mentioned, which is currently a museum and mining interpretation center.
