Little Ezion Baptist Church was organized in 1901 by Reverend H. Parker and Deacon M. Franklin. The current red-brick church building was constructed in 1954; a cornerstone lists the many deacons and stewards who supervised the project. The original church bell is on display outside. Burials in the cemetery date back to the early 1900s. Most are in above-ground crypts, which is typical for this part of the country due to shallow water tables.
