This mark is set in the top of a square concrete post that projects about 4 inches above the surface of the ground and is located adjacent to a northeast-southwest fence line. It is associated with U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey benchmark B 167 which is reported to be 29 feet to the southwest. I was unable to locate B 167 on my visit to this mark, though I suspect that it has been buried over the years and that a metal detector will be needed to locate it.
