This mark is located on the west side of State Highway 59, about 9 miles to the north-northeast of Gillette, Wyoming. The access cover is slightly recessed below the ground, and a thin layer of dirt/mud was on top of it when I made my recovery. Please do not travel through the gate on the dirt road that crosses the tracks, as this is private property and is in an active mining area. The center of the access cover is about half a foot to the south of a fiberglass witness post.
