Stone Sculpture - Saint-Léonard, VS, Switzerland - Abstract Public Sculptures on Waymarking.com

EN: This abstract sculpture stands in the center of Saint-Léonard next to Route du Simplon, the main road. It consists of two large granite blocks. One block is flat and serves as a foundation. On it stands the other block, which has a slightly lighter, yellowish hue. Three angular structures, distantly reminiscent of faces, are carved out of this mostly unhewn block.

I could not find any documentation about this sculpture, nor is there any indication of the artist or the title on site.

FR: Cette sculpture abstraite se trouve au centre de Saint-Léonard, à côté de la route du Simplon. Elle est composée de deux grands blocs de granit. L'un d'eux est plat et sert de fondation. L'autre bloc, d'une couleur jaunâtre un peu plus claire, est posé dessus. Dans ce bloc majoritairement non taillé sont sculptées trois structures angulaires qui rappellent vaguement des visages.

Je n'ai trouvé aucune documentation sur cette sculpture, et sur place, il n'y a aucune indication sur l'artiste ou le titre.

DE: Diese abstrakte Skulptur steht im Zentrum von Saint-Léonard neben der Route du Simplon. Sie besteht aus zwei grossen Granitblöcken. Ein Block ist flach und dient als Fundament. Darauf steht der andere Block, der einen etwas helleren, gelblichen Farbton hat. Aus diesem mehrheitlich unbehauenen Block sind drei eckige Strukturen herausgemeisselt, die entfernt an Gesichter erinnern.

Ich konnte keinerlei Dokumentation über diese Skulptur finden, auch vor Ort gibt es keinerlei Hinweise auf den Künstler oder den Titel.
