According to the NGS description, the flagpole is located 21.45 feet to the south of triangulation station CENTER (PU2386). The flagpole stands above the plains of South Dakota and is a short distance to the east of Old US 85. Public access is permitted through private property to reach the flagpole and the nearby triangulation station via a gate on the east side of the road.
