"Our parish was founded on April 10, 1961, as a small faith community celebrating Mass in the garage of a small house. Over the next few years, as membership increased, Masses were held in an abandoned dog kennel that was renovated and later became the parish hall. Our current church building was completed in late 1979, and Bishop John Cummins presided at the dedication Mass in May of 1980. Over the years, parish life and ministries have expanded and flourished under the leadership of pastors Msgr. Charles Hackel, Msgr. Julius Bensen, Fr. John Crumlish, and Fr. Mario Borges, with the help of many other dedicated priests and lay ministers. As our parish looks to the future, we continue our mission, to transfigure our community through faith." (visit link)
