Museum Het Reghthuys is in oktober 1988 opgericht door de Geschiedkundige Vereniging Giessenburg en Schelluinen. Het museum is gevestigd in het voormalige gemeentehuis van Giessenburg. De vereniging heeft, verspreid over drie etages en in verschillende ruimtes, veel voorwerpen uit het verleden van de Giessenstreek tentoongesteld. Naast de vaste collectie worden er in de expositieruimte drie à vier keer per jaar wisseltentoonstellingen gerealiseerd.

Museum Het Reghthuys was founded in October 1988 by the Giessenburg and Schelluinen Historical Society. The museum is located in the former town hall of Giessenburg. Spread over three floors and in different rooms, the society has exhibited many objects from the past of the Giessen region.
