[FR] Les Journées du patrimoine, les 17 et 18 septembre derniers, coïncident avec l’accueil officiel de deux nouveaux occupants au sein du château d’Azay-le-Ferron. En 1951, la famille Hersent-Luzarche, propriétaire du château, lègue le domaine de 1.200 hectares à la ville de Tours (Indre-et-Loire). Mais c’est une charge aujourd’hui pour la Ville, qui souhaite un soutien du département de l’Indre, de la région Centre-Val de Loire et du PNR. Dans le cadre d’un programme de mise en valeur des sites touristiques secondaires, un partenariat est né. L’association Le Rêve à l’envers a répondu à un appel à projets. C’est ainsi que désormais, deux nouveaux occupants trônent à l’entrée du parc : un cerf et un loup, des sculptures en fer et en matériaux de récupération, réalisées par l’artiste Jérôme Garreau, originaire de Loches (Indre-et-Loire). C’est un don à la Ville de Tours. Pour comprendre la symbolique du loup, il faut connaître l’histoire vraie du loup Cacao. Louveteau recueilli et élevé par la meute de chiens de chasse du château, il est vite domestiqué et vit avec ses maîtres au sein du château. À sa mort, Marthe Luzarche, très triste, décide de le faire empailler. Il est encore aujourd’hui dans le château, près d’un escalier.
