FIELD RM 4 (HF1499) - Sumner County, Kansas - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

RM 4 is the only remaining reference mark for triangulation station FIELD - RM 1 and RM 2 have been uprooted and the disks have been removed, while the top of RM 3 has been sheared off (leaving only a bare concrete monument in the ground). The station has been marked by a fiberglass witness post, but I was unable to locate it under heavy overgrowth in the summer of 2014.

RM 4 is set in the top of a round concrete monument that projects about 2 inches above the ground and sits directly to the southeast of a fiberglass witness post.
