[FR] Saint-Août est un petit village français situé dans le département de l'Indre et la région du Centre-Val de Loire. Ses habitants sont appelés les Saint-Aygulphins et les Saint-Aygulphines.
La commune s'étend sur 54,1 km² et compte 850 habitants depuis le dernier recensement de la population datant de 2005. Avec une densité de 15,7 habitants par km², Saint-Août a connu une hausse de 4,4% de sa population par rapport à 1999.
Entouré par les communes de Ambrault, Bommiers et Saint-Chartier, Saint-Août est situé à 19 km au sud-est du Poinçonnet la plus grande ville à proximité.
[EN] Saint-Août is a small French village located in the department of Indre and the region of Centre-Val de Loire. Its inhabitants are called Saint-Aygulphins and Saint-Aygulphines.
The commune covers 54.1 km² and has 850 inhabitants since the last population census in 2005. With a density of 15.7 inhabitants per km², Saint-Aygulphin has seen an increase of 4.4% in its population compared to 1999.
Surrounded by the municipalities of Ambrault, Bommiers and Saint-Chartier, Saint-Août is located 19 km southeast of Le Poinçonnet, the largest city nearby.
