A 393 (KK1319) - Douglas County, Colorado - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This metal rod is located adjacent to the I-25 right-of-way fence line on the west side of the south bound on-ramp at Exit 167. This section of I-25 recently underwent heavy construction work to expand the highway to three lanes. Satellite imagery suggests that construction work came very close to the mark; however, it is unclear if the mark itself was disturbed as part of the road work. The most recent "found it" log posted on this benchmark's geocaching.com page at the time of this Waymark's creation was from April of 2019, which I understand to be before the highway expansion project began here. On recent drives along this part of I-25, I have noticed that the fence itself remains in-place and undisturbed, which suggests that the mark may still be in good condition given its close proximity to the fence.
