X 45 (HF0712) - Cowley County, Kansas - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This mark is located on north side of 232nd road at the mid-section point between 51st Road and 61st Road. The mark is set in a square concrete monument that projects ~8 inches above the ground on the west side of the abandoned railway bed. I have not visited this mark since 2012, but given the rural nature of this area and the lack of development that I have observed here in the proceeding years I suspect that little has changed for this benchmark over the last decade.
