" Le "Jardin des moines", créé au XVI“ siècle par l'abbé commendataire Pierre de Mareuil, était entouré de murs dont il reste la trace sur les cotés des trois reposoirs subsistants.

Reposoirs: leur architecture, d'inspiration italienne, célèbre les ordres antiques: colonnes cannelées, chapiteaux corinthiens, frises des pilastres qui se prolongent sur l'arc, entablement et corniches à modillons.

Le reposoir à toiture pointue sur piles est sans doute plus tardif."

"The "Monks' Garden", created in the 16th century by the commendatory abbot Pierre de Mareuil, was surrounded by walls, traces of which remain on the sides of the three surviving repositories.

Altarpieces: their architecture, of Italian inspiration, celebrates the ancient orders: fluted columns, Corinthian capitals, friezes of the pilasters which extend over the arch, entablature and modillion cornices.

The pointed-roof altar resting on piers is probably later."
