The church clock with this associated brass plaque. A plain, wall mounted plaque with incised inscription in black.
The clock consists of a blue metal ring on the south face of the church tower with gilded roman numerals for the hours, and around the outside gilded arabic numerals for the minutes. The hour & minute hand are also gilded.
The inscription on the plaque inside the church reads -
TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF
PTE. CLEMENT RICHARD GOODWIN
16TH. BATT. ROYAL SCOTS REGT.
Who was killed in France on the
28th. January 1918 Aged 24 years
